Anyone getting forza horizon 3?

I know I am. Also it will be my first forza game. Would get 6 or 7 but I’m not a fan of simulation racing. The horizon series can be tuned from semi-simulation racing to that racing arcade machine you see at the bowling alley kind of racing, and I like that you can do that; also I’m a sucker for open world. So what do you guys think of horizon 3 right now?

The first Horizon is probably my favorite racing game of all time. I still play it from time to time.

I didn’t get to play Horizon 2 because I don’t have an XBone, but since Horizon 3 is being released for PC, I’m very excited to get back into the series.

I’m a fan of it when I have friends to roll with but other wise I beat 1 and then made too much money in 2 for it to be fun anymore cause I got all the cars and leveled up super quickly

Only once I get 100% game completion in Test Drive: Unlimited on my PS2, right now I’m at 65%.

It’s only for windows 10 and you have to by the digital xbox version to get the win 10 version. Typically people would buy it for xbox and pc in the side but it’s flipped for you.

I placed my order the day it was announced. The Horizon games are my favorite Forza games mainly for the open world driving with semi-sim physics. Hoping to have an Oppo group up for it the day it comes out.

Personally I don’t think 2 was too bad. Course I’ve only watched videos on the two but they both looked amazing, except for 2 on the 360, that was a disaster.

That does make me wonder, is it being developed for the slim and how well will it run on the regular one? Well now I’m kinda scared, and I know it isn’t going to run on my pc.

Assuming I’m not wrong, think of it this way, you can give a friend your xbox code, or keep it for yourself and use it if you ever get an xbox one.

Online is pretty good in Horizon, and from the sounds of it better in this one than the last. I’ll be posting something for gamer tags when I get my copy. I paid for the top edition so I’ll be on the Friday before it comes out.

Getting it for PC. I don’t pre-order games, so I’ll be waiting until the reviews come out the get the fancy editions with the car packs and VIP and such. My PC can already run Forza Apex on max settings at 4k (down scaled to 1080), so I think I’ll be good on the system front.

Might buy it, might not. If it’s like FH2, I won’t. I don’t want a game with a huge map, but with roads straight out of Florida. The first Horizon was better when it came to fun roads.

I haven’t pre-ordered, as I’m hoping Assetto Corsa is (finally) released first. If there’s a good package with the new Xbone slim then I may pick that up. Does anyone else wish FH was more like a sim (Or at least had an option for that)? Open world with more realistic feel would be nice...I play with a Fanatec wheel setup.

I’ve owned every Forza game since Forza 2, so I will definitely be getting this one. I’m going to get the Ultimate edition, for VIP, Car Pass (which i will end up getting anyways) and early access. Quite pumped. I’m hoping for more “regular” cars because those are my favoruite cars in forza. Forza Horizon typically has next to no racing cars. Forza 6 had a ton of regular cars added as DLC (I hope they all make it to Horizon 3). I liked Forza 6 but I find F1 cars, race cars, and supercars a little boring, I like modding my own cars. I know Forza Horizon 3 will have alot of supercars, but I hope its full of alot of regular cars, I know a Holden Maloo Ute and Ford Falcon Ute (along with a Ford Falcon Sedan for VIPs) have been announced.

Makes me sad I don’t have an XB1 right now. FH2 was the best racing game I’ve played since Burnout Paradise. THe best part was how alive the game felt with all the Drivatars running around hopefully this one will still have Lamborghinis dicking around in a field.

No they are not. If you buy it digitally on Xbox One you get a free Windows 10 copy and if you buy it on Windows 10 you get a free digital copy for Xbox One.

Horizon 3 will also have cross play and cross save so not only can you play with people on Xbox One, if you end up in a situation away from your PC but there is a Xbox One available with Horizon 3 on it you can pick up where you left off on your PC save.

Nah. It is tied to your Microsoft account. So you automatically get a copy for the other system.

It’s more than twice as big compared to Horizon 2 but it seems to have the variety and some of Horizon 1. Plus proper off roading looks to be accounted for. Someone managed to stitch together about half the map from various previews.
